Job summary

Cardinal Physical Therapy in Chesterland, OH is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, develop individualized plans, and guide hands-on, evidence-based interventions.

You will work alongside two experienced full-time therapists to deliver 60-minute treatments focused on quality outcomes rather than volume.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Ohio licensure.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred.
• Manual therapy training and experience preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with patients.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, diagnoses, and patient goals.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, injury prevention, recovery, and home exercise programs.
• Establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients and provide a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, support staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
• Promote patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.
