Job summary

Indian Health Service seeks a Physician Assistant to provide outpatient, patient-centered care emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention and comprehensive treatment. A recruitment/relocation sign-on bonus is available to join our team.

This role requires U.S. citizenship, licensure, and NCCPA certification, with on-going CME requirements and the ability to work rotating shifts including days and evenings. E-Verify and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Master of Physician Assistant Studies or related master’s with accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification and ongoing CME requirements.
• Active PA license in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive therapeutic and preventive health services in outpatient settings.
• Identifies and manages illnesses and preventive aspects of these illnesses.
• Educates communities and orients staff and leaders on relevant health care issues.
• Teaches and precepts students and junior health care workers.
