Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills and inventory control knowledge may be helpful.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and obtain patient and drug information.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring and pouring medications.
• Verify medicine, check for possible interactions, and report errors promptly.
• Support inventory management and assist with clerical duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and uphold company policies.
