Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of six months’ clinic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• CNA preferred; BLS required.
• If ND, must be registered as Nursing Assistant within four months from start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment; assist nursing staff.
• Take vital signs and support daily workflow in ambulatory services.
• Maintain patient care areas and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Monitor and restock medical supplies and equipment.
• Work with patient registries to identify opportunities to improve patient care.
