Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant or equivalent facility experience.
• Graduate from a CNA program or CMA program or nursing student in progress.
• Military medic/corpsman experience acceptable.
• EMT certification/Paramedic license considered.
• Foreign nursing graduates not licensed in US may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under supervision to support patients and nursing staff.
• Provide comfort, safety, and basic daily living assistance to patients.
• Support the nursing unit with routine tasks and equipment handling.

Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or
• Certified Medical Assistant program Or
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or
• Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or
• Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License

Licenses and/or Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required
