Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with patient care under the direction of professional staff, providing support to patients and the nursing unit. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork within a busy hospital setting.

Required education includes a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus either a CNA, CMA, nursing student progress, or related military medic background. BLS certification is also required.

• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or Certified Medical Assistant program Or Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or EMT Certification/Paramedic License

Job Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or

• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or

Licenses and/or Certifications:
