White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Intensive Care Unit. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following care plans and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Maryland CNA license, BLS, and acute care experience. This 24-hour-per-week day shift includes weekend requirements and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Maryland CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and CNA exam.
• Effective command of English (spoken and written).
• Physical ability to meet job requirements (lifting, bending, turning).
• Experience in acute care clinical setting preferred.

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Intensive Care Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Patient Care Technician, you will:

• Perform various service duties and routine technical tasks such as vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Specific duties may vary by area of assignment.
• Consideration of the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations is required.
• Participate in department and organizational education programs, meetings, committees, and professional initiatives
• Commit to personal, professional development in order to adapt effectively to ongoing change
• Present a positive and professional image to represent nursing and the organization Care Delivery
• Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the Registered Nurse
• Receive report from the Registered Nurse
• Ensure a culture of safety
• Identify and report malfunctioning/expired equipment and supplies
• Ensure work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma required
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School Program and successful completion of the CNA exam required
• Maryland CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License required

Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 24 hours per week (three 12 hour shifts); Sunday USC and PCT on any other day during the week.

Typical Daily Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Shift Type: Day Weekend

Requirements: Required, every other weekend rotation

Holiday Requirements: Required to follow company holiday calendar

Pay Range

$19.21 - $24.90
