Education: Assist in providing patient-specific education on adequacy measures and disease management.
Treatment: Welcome patients, evaluate vascular access, perform cannulation, monitor response to therapy, and document all treatment activities accurately. Ensure safety alarms are active and respond to any patient or machine issues promptly.
Record Keeping: Document treatment data, participate in CQI activities, and ensure proper charting and specimen collection.
Support infection control practices and assist in transitional care for new patients, including education and coordination of treatment options.
Describe physical requirements, including lifting, standing, and exposure risks, with accommodations as needed.
