Job summary

PAM Health in Pennsylvania is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This role does not include administering medications.

The position emphasizes following PAM Health policies and guidelines, delivering accommodative services, and performing duties within the limits of the role. A current BLS certification is required and 2–3 years of acute or rehabilitation care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
• Ability to perform patient care activities within the limits of the position.
• Must not administer medications or therapy.
• Must not assume independent responsibility for patient care.
• Must perform duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
