Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a GED or equivalent, comfort with blood, and the ability to work long shifts. Training is provided with opportunities for career growth and full benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
