Job summary

Glengariff Rehab's dialysis center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic.

Under RN supervision, you will deliver direct care, monitor vitals, set up equipment, and educate patients on treatment and kidney health. Collaboration with nurses and dietitians is essential.

Qualifications

• Dialysis experience required.
• Proficiency with electronic charting (EMR).
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

Patient Care Technician Qualifications:

• Candidate MUST have dialysis experience
• Candidate must have current BCLS certification
• Candidate should have knowledge with computers and electronic charting

Patient Care Technician Job Description:

As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care

Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment

Set up and maintain dialysis equipment

Record vital signs and patient data

Educate patients on treatment and kidney health

Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Shifts : Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

Salary: Up to $29 an hour (based on experience)
