Job summary

Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system serving Elmhurst Hospital in Illinois. The Patient Care Tech will assist with patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients on day shifts.

Part-time, 24 hours per week, with rotating holidays and weekends, starts with a competitive hourly pay range. Required qualifications include CPR certification, nursing assistant training or equivalent experience, and ability to work

Qualifications

• CPR certification current (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of the care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by department
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and the ability to prioritize and follow directions
