Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician. The role delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, performing tasks that do not require nursing judgments or medications, including phlebotomy and EKG. Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Initial training is full-time during the day shift. Candidates must have a high school diploma and basic computer skills; BLS/CPR and First Aid are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications.
• Duties include, but not limited to: Phlebotomy and EKG.
• Adheres to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center standards of care and practice.
