Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant at Putnam Hospital Center in the Surg 4 North - Ortho unit. Under RN or LPN supervision, you will provide direct patient care, maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and demonstrate accountability for duties.

You will serve patients of all ages and support the unit manager as needed. The role requires a High School Diploma and BLS credentialing, with recent experience as a nurse aide, phlebotomist, or EKG tech preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Registration/Certification: BLS credentialing
• Work Experience: Recent experience as a nurse aide, phlebotomist, or EKG technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing skills encompassing patient care and relative tasks under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Provides direct quality care and service to patients of all ages under the directions of the Unit Manager/designee
