Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a Patient Care Technician who will deliver patient care under the supervision of an RN or licensed professional. Duties include routine CNA tasks, assisting in procedures, and using basic rhythm interpretation equipment.

Under the supervision of licensed staff, you will perform bedside care, support the care team, and participate in unit activities. The position includes shift-based hours, benefits eligibility, and potential overtime

• Requires Washington NAC license and CPR card.
• Six months NAC experience preferred.

Job Description

The Patient Care Technician, after a supervised orientation, is responsible to a RN and/or another licensed professional. He/she delivers patient care within their scope of practice, in addition to routine certified nursing assistant and/or unit secretary duties, is trained to do basic rhythm interpretation, to use specialty equipment, and to assist in procedures. The Patient Care Technician delivers care within their scope of practice under the direction of an RN and/or another licensed professional.

• Current CPR card (maintenance required);

What is preferred...

• Six months experience as an NAC

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range starts at $20.39/hour and goes up to $32.00/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

This position is also eligible to receive additional compensation when working certain hours. Evening shift (3p - 11p) = $2.50/hour; night shift (11p - 7a) = $3.50/hour; weekends = $4.00/hour.

FTE: .9 = 36 hours/week

Shift: Primarily Days. May include alternating weekends.
