Rochester Regional Health invites applications for a Patient Care Technician at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. This part-time 20-hour-per-week role rotates days, evenings, and nights, including every other weekend, to support the Labor & Delivery unit.

You will provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse, assist with admissions, discharges and transfers, monitor vital signs, and help keep the unit clean, stocked, and ready for patient care.

Qualifications

• Preferred: CNA certification, Nursing Fundamentals, experience as a medical assistant/technician in a health-related facility or participation in a Patient Care Technician training program.
• Associates degree preferred; Customer Service and communication skills preferred.

Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation.
