Job summary

Sanford Health in North Dakota is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Shifts include Day/Evening rotation with every other weekend and holiday. Part-time schedule with 16 hours per week and self-scheduling options within the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology preferred.
• CNA preferred; if ND, must be on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry upon training/competency validation or within four months of employment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
• If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
