Job summary

Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Cincinnati area. The role supports patient care, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced orthopedic setting within the SCA Health network.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified MA/CNA/PCT preferred, and complete BLS within 90 days. Knowledge of medical terminology is required. Compensation is hourly, with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources.
• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and following procedures for reporting and correcting unsafe situations.
• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Proactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center.
