PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to support patient care activities under the supervision of nursing staff. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to hospital policies, and accurate documentation of patient needs.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and current BLS certification, with 2–3 years of experience in acute or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Does not administer medications or therapy. Follows PAM Health policies and procedures.
