Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with patient care under professional staff supervision. This role supports patients, the nursing unit and other staff. It is a 36-hour week, on-site position with opportunities to advance through CNA/CMA credentials.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of CNA/CMA programs, nursing student first semester, or EMT/medic experience. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility OR CNA program graduate OR CMA program OR nursing student who completed the first semester OR military medic/corpsman experience.
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License or foreign nursing graduate not licensed to practice in the U.S. may qualify.

Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or
• Certified Medical Assistant program Or
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or
• Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman Or
• Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S Or
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License

Licenses and/or Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required
