Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patient care under the direction of professional staff. This role provides essential assistance to patients, the nursing unit, and healthcare teams in a busy hospital setting.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and either CNA/CMA training or relevant nursing program progression. Weekday shifts with occasional weekends are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility is acceptable orGraduate from a CNA program or CMA program or Nursing student who has completed first semester of Nursing Program or Military medic/corpsman experience.
• Foreign nursing graduates not licensed in the U.S. may apply under certain conditions.
• EMT Certification or Paramedic License is also acceptable.

Education
