Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician who, under the direction of professional staff, will assist with patient care to support the patient, nursing unit and clinical team.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, teamwork with nurses, and adherence to hospital protocols while contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program
• Certified Medical Assistant program
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program
• Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman
• Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S
• EMT Certification/Paramedic License
• Licenses and/or Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required
