Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Float Pool on the First Shift. The role supports RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine patient care and ADLs, with duties aligned to the care team and patient needs.

High school diploma or equivalent is required; CNA/Health Occupations program and initial clinical rotation or 1 year of care experience are preferred. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/Health Occupations program preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year patient-care experience preferred in acute care, nursing home, or home care.
• Basic BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians in routine patient care tasks.
• Support non-complex activities of daily living for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care team to ensure smooth care delivery.
