Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a collaborative nursing team in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role focuses on hands-on support for Registered Nurses, patient comfort, and safety across daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years in acute care or military medic background, plus BCLS. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a respected health system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA, LNA, or EMT Training Program, or Military Medic Training (Preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting or as a military medic (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized and stocked.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.

Job Summary and Qualifications
