Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain seeks a Patient Care Tech to support patient care under a Nurse Leader. You will perform direct and indirect care activities in a busy hospital environment, with multiple priorities and scheduling flexibility.

No experience is required as on-site training is provided, and you may advance through a clinical ladder based on experience and certifications. BLS certification within 60 days is expected.

Qualifications

• No experience required, training provided on-site.
• Successful completion of PCT specific HHC orientation.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 60 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Nurse Leader, provide direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Support a safe and efficient care environment in a high activity setting.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience as part of the care team.
