Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the nursing team and assist with direct patient care in a busy hospital setting. The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, BLS certification, and CNA or related nursing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant or equivalent in a healthcare facility.
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or related nursing credential.
• Certified Medical Assistant program completion acceptable.
• Nursing student who has completed the first semester of a nursing program may qualify.
• Documented military medic/corpsman experience.
• Foreign nursing graduates not licensed in the U.S. may be considered.
• EMT Certification or Paramedic License required.

Job Requirements:

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Required
• 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility Or
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program Or
• Certified Medical Assistant program Or
• Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of a Nursing Program Or
