BayCare seeks a Patient Care Tech / Certified Nursing Assistant at Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. You will provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in a dynamic hospital setting.

Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistantpositions are available with Mease DunedinHospitalin Dunedin,FL.If youwould like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on careforpatients witha leader inhealthcare,please joinBayCareas a Patient Care Technician.

Position details:

Shift:Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
Shift:Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
Shift:Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Shift:Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistantresponsibilities and skills:

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GEDminimum
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• A minimum of one of the following:
• 6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or
• 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundations (LPN) Programs, or
• Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component, or
• Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT internship, or
• EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only
