AdventHealth in WAUCHULA, FL is seeking a Full-time, day-shift Patient Care Technician. You will assist a registered nurse, perform treatments per policy, document care, and communicate with patients and families to support safe, compassionate care.

Required are a High School Diploma or equivalent and CNA/BLS/CPCT-A/EMT certifications, with 1+ year PCT experience preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPCT/A, CNA, EMT or BLS certification is required, or equivalent.
• 1+ year of PCT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as directed by a registered nurse.
• Performs treatments in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
• Documents procedures according to department policy.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and patient safety.
