Job summary

Community Health Network in Indiana is seeking a Senior Patient Care Technician who provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Duties include bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, vital signs, transporting patients, and welcoming patients to the care area.

The role requires teamwork, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude. Must have a High School diploma or GED, computer documentation skills, and either CNA license or enrollment in nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under a RN including bathing, elimination assistance, bed making and vital signs.
• Transport patients and related materials safely and efficiently.
• Greet and orient patients to the care area and support meal service and feeding.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver additional patient care as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining quality and compassion.
