Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs. You will support activities of daily living and assist with hygiene and comfort as part of a unit-based, self-directed care team.

Required certifications include BLS and a Georgia Registry CNA, CMA, RMA or NHA CMA, plus at least one year of acute patient care experience. Preferred color acuity may apply in certain units.

Qualifications

• Must have American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry or CMA/RMA/NHA CMA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assistance and patient care to support comfort, safety, and personal needs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene and comfort.
