Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with bathing, feeding, hygiene, and daily living activities, and help with capturing vital signs and I&O documentation.

You will support physicians and nurses, prepare patient rooms, and ensure a safe, clean environment while maintaining patient confidentiality and compassionate care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience, preferably in a hospital or long term care facility.
• Nurse Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care including positioning, hygiene, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges; prepare rooms and bedding.
• Assist in obtaining admission height, weight, and vital signs.
• Help with meals and feeding; document dietary intake.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow isolation and safety protocols.
• Document patient care data and report changes to the supervising nurse.
