Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a collaborative nursing team by assisting with daily patient needs, vital signs, mobility, and personal care under RN supervision. You help monitor conditions and carry out care plans while contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will help monitor conditions, maintain a safe environment, and communicate with patients and families to uphold quality care and dignity.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
