Job summary

CarePartners Health Services in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the team supporting Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping monitor conditions and carry out care plans. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and restoring comfort and dignity for patients served by the PACE program.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
