  • Experience in an office or clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary care team to promote health and wellness.
  • Communicate pertinent data to staff in a timely manner.
  • Promote infection prevention and proper hygiene in patient rooms.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and measure vital signs.
  • Schedule and coordinate lab tests, imaging, and admissions; participate in turnover between procedures.

Responsible to provide a safe environment for his/her assigned patients; to complete the assigned work; to monitor the patient for changes in condition and to report those changes to the RN; to document the work that he/she completes; and to document and report any pertinent observations as a result of the interventions. Making independent clinical decisions is outside of the scope for this position. Performs age-specific EKGs, in OP Clinic and Cath Lab & IR. Schedule patient appointments.Meets the needs of any patient in the department.Applies proper techniques with simple dressing changes. Maintains and follows proper procedure for sterile technique on dressing changes.Prepares and processes requisitions for housekeeping, maintenance and general supply needs and ensures adequate par levels are maintained.Participates in intra- and interdepartmental committee activities.
