Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CLIAFE compliance with foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT Training Program or THR-approved program required or on hire as noted.
• EMT-B or equivalent military medical training acceptable on hire.
• Nursing student with fundamentals complete or foreign nursing degree acceptable on hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience may substitute for some certifications on hire.
• BCLS certification required before independent patient care and quarterly maintenance.
• CPI training maintained annually (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on care plan and preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data, supports admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and upholds safety goals.
