Job summary

Sanford Health in North Dakota is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Cardiology Clinic to support ambulatory services. The role focuses on basic patient care under licensed supervision, including vital signs, rooming, and assisting providers in a fast-paced specialty environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months of healthcare experience, knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of six months' experience preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Taking patient vital signs.

• Cleaning and stocking patient treatment rooms.

Schedule
