Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Night shift healthcare support role for its Telemetry Unit-2A/2F-Advanced Cardiac Care. This full-time position requires participation in night rotations with 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 PM–6:30 AM.

We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage, with weekend and holiday rotations. The role supports patient care under licensed supervision, with a focus on vital signs, ADLs, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months healthcare experience in the last 12 months required; acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; CNA/CMA certification preferred; EMT license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition; record vital signs and care delivered.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides and collaborates direct patient care services under the direct supervisor of a licensed caregiver. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to personal care, activities of daily living, vital signs, intake and output, ambulation, interventions, and implementation of selected portions of the patient care plan as directed under supervisor of nurse. Assists, observes and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation in relation to the care delivered. Addresses and/or directs questions or concerns from patients, families, caregivers, or health care team members. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Other Completion of Block 1 in Nursing OR Medical Assistant (MA) OR Nursing Assistant (NA) OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) OR 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year Required 6 months in acute care experience. Preferred

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Certification Preferred Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT) - License Emergency Medical Tech Preferred
