Job summary

BayCare Health System in Wesley Chapel is seeking a Nursing Assistant/PCT to provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. This role supports the Med-Surg-Tele Unit II-WCH and participates in a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift, with every-other weekend work and no on-call requirements.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a current BLS certification. Eligible pathways include 6 months acute care experience, 1 year SNF experience, BayCare

Qualifications

• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One of the following pathways is acceptable: 6 months acute care experience; or 1 year SNF experience; or BayCare internship; or RN/LPN program completion; or EMT/Paramedic for ER; or completion of a PCT/Nursing Assistant program including 40 hours external clinical component.
