Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT is hiring Patient Care Technicians across multiple units. Under RN supervision, PCTs provide multi-skilled services including patient care and administrative support, with 12-hour shifts and opportunities for clinical ladder advancement.

No experience required; on-site orientation provided. BLS certification from AHA preferred, with eligibility within 60 days.

Qualifications

• On-site orientation provided.
• Successful completion of PCT-specific orientation per HHC.
• Current BLS Provider credential from AHA within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide multi-skilled patient care and administrative support.
• Support across units including Ortho, Surgical/Oncology, Telemetry/Stroke, ICU/PCU, and Observation units.
• Work in a high-activity environment with flexible scheduling and 12-hour shifts.
