Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care and to help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, you will support Registered Nurses in providing hands‑on care and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You will assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, personal care, and help RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Provide non‑medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
