DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. No prior nephrology experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Once trained, you will join a team of healthcare professionals including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other PCTs. This position offers clear career advancement paths through our Clinical Ladders program and educational support via the Bridge to your Dreams program, which helps teammates pursue nursing degrees or administrative training.

Key details about this role include:

  1. No dialysis experience necessary.
  2. Training may occur at a facility different from your assigned clinic.
  3. Potential to work across multiple clinics.
  4. Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing direct patient care during dialysis treatments, monitoring patient stats, and observing patient conditions.
  2. Handling technician duties such as machine setup and blood/needle exposure.
  3. Building long-term relationships with patients and educating them on dialysis-related topics.
