Job summary

Universal Health Services (TMC Bonham Hospital) seeks a Patient Care Tech to assist in meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role involves providing direct care with limited invasive procedures and performing tasks per competency documentation.

Responsibilities include supporting inpatient and outpatient services at a 25-bed CAH, with 24-hour emergency coverage and collaboration with the care team to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to provide basic care giving skills to patients. Must have effective communication and time management skills.
