• Transports patients to and from the Operating Room.
• Assists with Operating Room preparation.
• Positions patients in Operating Room.

Minimum Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Work experience in a hospital setting for at least 6 months, preferred. Must be able to communicate with patients and families and work in fast pace, stressful environment.

Working Conditions

Potentially exposed to infectious diseases.

Physical Requirements

Ability to continuously stand and sit (90% of time). May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time throughout the day. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
