Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided on-site.
• Successful completion of PCT orientation.
• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 60 days of hire date or job transfer date.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred
• Current BLS Provider credential from the AHA preferred
• Certification as a CNA, CPCT/A, EMT or CMA to be eligible for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder preferred

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nurse Leader, perform duties supporting patient care.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care activities that ensure safety and efficiency.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience with care team.
