Trinity Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Rapid Decision Unit. Under RN direction, you will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, and maintain a clean, safe environment focused on patient and family well-being.

Position Purpose

Under the direction of a registered nurse, the patient care technicianis responsible fordirect patient care considering age specific, developmental,culturaland spiritual needs. Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies. Assists in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/familywell beingincluding concepts ofrelationship basedcare.

Shifts Available: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am

Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays per year required for Full-time and Part-time team members.

Required Qualifications:

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Experience

• Preferred minimum of one year ofpreviousdirect care experience (acute or long term) OR successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course OR Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
