Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our clinical team. Under supervision of licensed staff, you will provide compassionate care to patients across the life span and support treatments and procedures.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic life support certification; CNA or PCT program credentials are a plus. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• CNA or Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• No experience required in some roles may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
