Hartford HealthCare’s Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT is seeking a Patient Care Tech. This role supports patient care under a Nurse Leader, performing direct and indirect tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.

The position offers on-site training, a path for career advancement through the PCT clinical ladder, and a commitment to high-quality patient experiences in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required, training provided on-site.
• Successful completion of PCT specific HHC orientation.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some relevant experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred.
• Current certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
• Certification as a CNA, CPCT/A, EMT or CMA to be eligible for advancement in the PCT clinical ladder preferred.

Summary
