Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Med Surg Unit at Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX. This part-time, day-shift role supports patient care and collaborates with the nursing team.

You will collect patient data, assist with admissions and discharges, and help patients with daily living activities, while maintaining safety and a clean environment.

• Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.
• Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Provides and Revises patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
• Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
• Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
• Documents accurately and appropriately.
• In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapts care to reflect patient population.
• In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
• Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
• Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and takes action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate

Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail in Fort Worth, TX 76244.

Work hours: Part Time, Day Shift (7a to 7p), 2 shifts, 24 hours per week. Great growth opportunity and complete benefits available.

What You Will Do
