Medical Intensive Care (MICU) is an 8-bed unit specializing in the care of medical intensive care patients. Care is provided for patients with infectious diseases, gastrointestinal problems, and cardiac and respiratory conditions that require ventilator support and invasive pressure monitoring and support. Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with a registered nurse on developing a patient's care plan.
• Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Maintains the safety of patients who have been identified at risk for preventable injury by the implementation of nursing safety interventions or the use of protective devices/equipment under the supervision of the registered nurse.
• Reports all patient activity to the registered nurse in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Pay Range

$20.50 - $27.59 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
