Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) on full night shifts, 7 PM–7 AM, totaling 36 hours weekly with some weekends and holidays.

You will assist patients per care plans, collect data, support activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under nursing supervision. The unit emphasizes continuous education, self-scheduling, and opportunities to engage in unit and hospital affairs.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• TX CNA or PCT Training Program through NHA, NAHP and NCCT, accredited community college program or THR approved program required upon hire.
• EMT – Emergency Medical Technician - Military experience with medic/medical training equivalent required upon hire.
• Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program required upon hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of an active and approved certification required upon hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required prior to providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 Days upon hire required

WORK SCHEDULE

Full Time Nights: 7 PM -7 AM for a total of 36 hours a week with some weekends and holidays.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Acute experience preferred.
• TX CNA or PCT Training Program through NHA, NAHP and NCCT, accredited community college program or a THR approved program required upon hire. Not required to maintain certification when applicable after hire or
